Description

Brenna Gauntlet Structural Firefighting Gloves – NFPA 1971, TPP 60+, Waterproof, PFAS-Free

The Brenna Gauntlet structural firefighting glove is built for interior attack, overhaul, and high-heat operations where ordinary gloves fall short. With specially treated cowhide leather, a high-performance Porelle® FR membrane, and aramid-based inner layers, Brenna delivers serious heat protection, durability, and dexterity for firefighters who work in extreme conditions.

Built for Structural Firefighting Environments

The Brenna Gauntlet is designed specifically for structural firefighting, combining rugged outer materials with intelligent internal layering:

  • Back: Black split cowhide leather – tough, durable, heat-resistant shell
  • Palm: Black grain cowhide leather – strong grip and abrasion resistance
  • Fourchettes: DuPont™ Nomex® fabric between fingers for added flame and heat protection

The outer leather is specially treated for heat, water, and abrasion resistance while remaining flexible enough for tool handling and hose work.

Multi-Layer Heat Shield & High TPP Performance

Under the leather shell, Brenna uses a thermo-protective system engineered for high-heat exposure:

  • Thermo-protective layer on the back of the hand and thumb
  • Aramid non-woven fabric for increased heat and cut resistance

This multi-layer design delivers TPP exceeding 60, helping shield hands from intense heat while still allowing controlled movement and grip.

Waterproof, Breathable Porelle® Barrier

For fluid and chemical protection, Brenna Gauntlet features a Porelle® P540 polyurethane FR membrane that:

  • Creates a barrier against water, chemicals, bloodborne pathogens, and bacteria
  • Remains highly breathable, helping reduce sweat buildup
  • Stays flexible, sensitive, and firm, so you maintain feel and control during operations

You get structural-level protection without sacrificing comfort or tactility.

Stable Aramid Lining That Stays Put

Inside, a high-density aramid lining adds another layer of thermal defense and stability:

  • Increased thickness for stronger heat protection
  • Will not stretch or pull out – secured and attached at the fingertips
  • Enables easy donning and doffing even when wet
  • Brushed on the reverse to trap more air for improved insulation

The result is a lining that doesn’t bunch, twist, or pull out when you remove the glove.

Anatomical 3D Cut for Grip, Dexterity, and Control

Brenna Gauntlet uses an Anatomical 3D Cut to keep the glove working with your hand, not against it:

  • Excellent dexterity for nozzle work, tool use, couplings, and radios
  • Better grip and fit with reduced bulk in critical areas
  • Breathability, sensitivity, and flexibility built into the patterning
  • Elastic-tightened wrist helps keep debris, heat, and sparks out while securing the glove on the hand

The design gives you structural protection with a more natural, precise feel.
