Shawn Hunter
Founder & CEO
Shawn Hunter, a Louisville native and Florida State graduate, began as a first responder in Tallahassee before moving into the private sector as a consultant and sales manager in the RV industry. He entered Fire/EMS as a contract manager with an international fire-truck manufacturer, then sold ambulances statewide for a multi-state dealer. In 2019, he founded Hunter Apparatus, LLC, partnering with leaders like Frazer Ambulance, Phenix, Black Diamond, Holik, CASPR, Technimount EMS, and AeroClave. Today the company serves municipal and county fire/rescue and EMS agencies, hospitals, private transport providers, volunteer organizations, and industrial fire departments-delivering vehicles, PPE, mounting systems, decontamination solutions, and more across the Southeast.
Marcy Hunter
Co-Owner & Manager
Marcy Hunter is the co-owner and manager of Hunter Apparatus, LLC, an emergency-response vehicle and equipment provider serving fire, rescue, EMS, hospital, and industrial teams across Florida, Georgia, and Alabama. Her sales focus is Technimount EMS, and Frazer Ambulance. Before this chapter, Marcy spent 27 years in the mortgage industry, rising from entry-level to senior leadership. She joined Hunter Apparatus full-time in July 2024 and relishes building a business from the ground up. A sixth-generation Floridian, she’s been married to Shawn for over 25 years, has three grown children, and loves live music and festivals.

Having grown up moving frequently with a father in the Navy, I’ve learned to appreciate new experiences and the value of home wherever I go. I now reside in Atlantic Beach, Florida, where I enjoy spending time with my family and my dog. When I’m outdoors, you can usually find me fishing or on the golf course, and I love exploring new restaurants around town. I’m also a proud fan of Florida State Seminoles football and the Baltimore Ravens.

With 20 years of trust in Frazer, Eddie’s commitment to excellence is unwavering. He is a natural and accomplished leader with extensive expertise in Fire and EMS, and his leadership skills and deep operational knowledge make him a valuable asset to our team.
