- Designed around the selected radio model while keeping operational controls and screen visibility accessible.
- The bucket can be decontaminated with Biocide/Cavicide or CITROSQUEEZE.
- Pair with a Safer Radio Strap; the universal S1 listing is a radio bucket only and does not include a strap.
- For decontamination after use in an IDLH environment, CITROSQUEEZE is listed.
- For biological exposure or heavy soiling, choose one of: a 10% bleach solution, 70% isopropyl alcohol, Envirocide, or Cavicide, following the product label. For a 10% bleach solution, start with bleach at 6.5% active ingredient and dilute 1 part bleach to 9 parts water.
- Use limits: this equipment does not protect against radiological or direct-flame hazards, is not a rescue harness, and should avoid direct flame and molten metals. Temperature, contact time, cuts, tears, wear, and chemical exposure can affect resistance.
